✨£5 per child for the meerkat experience (adults free)

🐴£6 Groom a Shetland pony and receive a certificate and rosette

🐐Bags of hand feed for a donation at reception

If you want somewhere to get hands on with animals, boost children’s confidence around animals and have a family day, this is somewhere you need to visit!

Lots of things are FREE and included in your ticket 🎟️ It’s a really friendly place to visit,

The animal shows are brilliant. Terry comes in, entertains the kids and brings out the kestrel. He goes into the Raven pen, where he does tricks with his new Raven. The kids can’t wait for it to start speaking!

They get the reptiles out for everyone to have a hold. The kids held the tarantula, tortoise, gecko and had the snake around their necks, which they loved!

🐑Lamb/goat feeding is included and on at select times during the day. They have a petting corner for you to hold the rabbits and guinea pigs.

🐄Our boys love animal handling, particularly birds of prey, reptiles and farm animals

🪶The experiences are bought from reception and are run throughout the day

✨Our boys do every experience, starting with the pony grooming. They had some 1:1 time with their pony, brushing her, stoking her and got a certificate and rosette to take home each (our boys love awards so this was brill for them)

✨They climbed in with the meerkats, where they hand fed them (a private experience again with your family only). It’s one for your list if you haven’t done it before. The kids sit on little chairs, with the meerkats climbing on them and they can stroke them.

✨The barn owl/kestrel handling is fabulous. (Again private experience). Terry spent loads of time with the boys, helping our 3 year old keep his little glove up.

The pictures show just how much they loved this experience. Our eldest knows everything there is to know about barn owls, which Terry has taught him over his visits to Animal Quackers, and now our youngest is as fearless and learning.

🦅The golden eagle experience for adults is great. We have done that before. Terry taught him how to hold the eagle, positioning, information about the eagle. You would pay a fortune anywhere else for experiences like this

🍽️They have a Cafe serving lots of different hot and cold meals

🍟We got the boys nuggets and chips, which also come with a fruit shoot for just £4! We got paninis which were really good

🪑There’s lots of seating in the cafe, with an indoor slide within eye shot that they play on whilst you finish your food.

🛝The play stack and slide is great. Both boys go in on their own, it’s well lit and I can just sit and relax

⭐️There’s another park, with large slide, climbing frames and swing

🦙The fields are full of different animals to see, emus, pigs, wallabies, ponies, donkeys, sheep and alpacas
