Our Visit
The Jungle Book by Immersion Theatre Company – We watched it at Darwen Library Theatre
Suitable for all ages
Part 1: 45 minutes – Interval: 20 minutes – Part2: 40 minutesWe took our eldest to watch the show today (little one had a bad night and wasn’t 100%) The show was brilliant!
The cast were excellent! From the singing, dancing, performing their different characters and the cheesy dad jokes (which we were cackling at)
The show was so engaging and interactive, with the audience joining in
There were some really touching moments with the storyline and the show finished with a lovely family message
It highlighted that family isn’t just blood. It doesn’t matter the colour of your skin, how big/ small or different you are, it’s about the love we have for each other.
We personally thought this was a really nice touch and a great message for the children
to hear
Our eldest was THRILLED to wait after the show to get a special meet with Baloo! He told Baloo all about his Pokémon cards and figures and even got to go on stage
