Our Visit

Last visited for Halloween October 2023

What an amazing trip we had! We love Cockfields farm events – They are brilliant! And their Halloween was no different. They always go the extra mile and it’s a favourite of ours

The field was set up with a huge pumpkin patch, with lots of decorated hay bails, Frankenstein, Jack Skellington, pumpkins, ghost busters, along with a large graveyard for the kids to wander around. They had a piano in the middle of the field, pumpkins EVERYWHERE, tractor, pumpkin house to go inside. It was brilliant for the kids! Everyone gets a free pumpkin token on arrival, but you can also purchase more if you like.

So after you have taken your wheelbarrow around the field & chosen your pumpkins, they have a pumpkin carving station under shelter, with all the tools to carve your pumpkin. So we all had half an hour at our own table designing them, which was fun (plus they were lighter when carrying them to the car!)

The witch show was brilliant and interactive. They asked for volunteers & Jonah was chosen to go on stage, which was lovely. He got to knock on the witches door, she chose a trick and he squirted her with a water gun! What I really liked about the show, was that it was a very child friendly show, so when she was being the mean witch, she still came out giggling and engaging the children.

Their is a always a huge list of activities as you arrive, so you can see what’s running and the timings. We joined in pretty much everything, including reptile and animal handling, a turn on the carousel and then a play on the parks.

What we really like here, is that the when you get in, there are no hidden extra’s. We have all been there, where we have taken the kids on a day out and then you are paying a small fortune for lots of extra things whilst inside. At Cockfields, the tractor ride, animal handling, reptile handling, the jumping pillows, park, carousel rides, sand pit, the tunnels, the shows are all free and you can go on as many times as you like.

You can spend all day here easily. We bring a picnic with us, so that the kids can eat on the go, but there is a large indoor cafe, next to the role play area and we always buy an ice cream

We can’t wait for their Christmas Event which is already on sale now

Its cashless – so card payments only. They do offer a pay in 3 scheme for some events, where you can pay a deposit of 30%! Lots of different deals for days out, so keep checking their Facebook page
