Our Visit

Flying display 12:30

What a fabulous day we had! They all joined in a fairy door hunt, played on the park, explored the sanctuary and had a private bird handling experience 🦉They all were given gloves, told all about the owls, taught how to hold for those who hadn’t been before and had lots of photo opportunities (held 4 owls each)

The sanctuary is full of owls & birds of prey to see. Even on normal days, as part of your ticket, you can watch the flying display and hold the owls 🦉

There’s no on site cafe, but there’s a shop with tea and coffee. There is a gift shop, where you can buy books, t shirts, pens, lots of bird related presents. All money spent in the shop, stays within the sanctuary
We all had a picnic and cake to celebrate in the picnic area next to the pond 🦆

Andy & John are very knowledgeable, have such love for the birds and our eldest had a fantastic day, receiving a goody bag on his way out

If you haven’t been and your kids are at an age where they can sit, wait for their turn to hold the bird and enjoy the display, then I would recommend you visit
