Top Rope Wrestling Academy – if you know any children or adults who enjoy wrestling, you should 100% follow their page. They have family friendly wrestling shows, children’s wrestling classes, holiday camps, birthday parties, adult training, event hire including schools and we are already planning a charity fundraiser for next year for you all to join us!

We recently (End of October) went to their wrestling show, (It was at Accrington Town Hall but they do shows at various places). This is such a family friendly show! And if you haven’t been, or have been and want to book again, their next show is on 3rd December ! Link below

It was Jonah’s first time and he loved it!  We had front row tickets so he could easily see. The show lasted about 2 hours from start to finish, with commentators on the side, the host introducing the wrestlers and there was always a build up for each show. The boys favourite was when there were about 8 wrestlers in the ring, who were all battling it out, flinging each other around, it was carnage!

The female wrestlers had the ladder match, which was something we hadn’t seen before. And they had the coffin match, which was another first. The characters are great, so engaging with the crowd, everyone was cheering and booing. Even our 3 year old was booing and joining in!  And because there were so many different matches and variety, he didn’t get bored or try to wander off. He enjoyed sitting and watching the shows.

They had a licensed bar at the back, but also their own tuck shop, with hot dogs for £1.50 and sweetie cones for £2. We felt it was really cheap and affordable, especially when you have more than one child to buy for.

For anyone with sensory needs, you would benefit from wearing ear defenders, as there is loud music, but our boys were fine with it.

After the show they had some meet & greets, where you can chat with the wrestlers, get your photographs signed and have pictures, which I thought was really nice for the boys.

We have booked a wrestling party in January, so I will update this post with all the info once we have been. So for anyone wanting a party for the kids, they have a package which includes the children learning how to wrestle, watching a wrestling show, food, cake, party games! So we can’t wait for that.

Highly recommend and can’t wait to go again!
