Our Visit
Rapunzel by Anton Benson Productions
At Burnley Mechanics Theatre Burnley Leisure & Culture BB11 1BH
Programme & light toys available
Kerry Katona stared as Mother Gothel, Dean Gaffney as the Prince, Strictly Come Dancings Joanne Clifton as Rapunzel, Britains got talent Jamie & Chuck as the Jesters, Phyl Harries as Dame Dolly, Ryan Greaves as Wally & Kate Salmon as Fairy Tale
The show was fantastic & the boys were lucky enough to go backstage & meet the cast! They were SO lovely, high fiving the boys, chatting to them and they all even had a picture together
The show was so interactive, loads of innuendo and cheeky jokes which we were cackling at, it was joke after joke and they were brilliant singers.
They had costume change after change, they squirted the audience with water guns, the props kept changing, it was a really entertaining show
It was around 75 minutes for the first half, a 15 minutes interval and 50 minutes for the second half
Burnley mechanics is a lovely venue. It was the boys first time (we hadn’t been brave enough to take Jonah age 2 to shows until recently )
The staff were really helpful, it was very clean, tiered seating was great and we can’t wait to visit other shows at the mechanics (they will be advertised on our website, which will be live this week)
If you want to watch the Rapunzel show, they will be at Blackpool Winter Gardens on 28th May !!!
Burnley mechanics have lots of shows coming up – https://burnleymechanics.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/shows
