Our Visit

We have had many a trip to Brockholes. We tend to get there early morning, as its quieter. They enjoy the park, which has a few swings, a climbing frame with a slide, the zip line and a sand area, with diggers. If you walk further on, there is another park area, with a larger slide, climbing ropes.

A little further on is the woods with dens inside, which the boys went in to have their dinner.

You can walk as far or as little as you want. We tend to go to the parks, dens, a 30 minute walk in the woods and that’s plenty for us.

There is a resident barn owl which we have spotted before, so much nature and wildlife here.

They have different events on, including car boots, explorer days, woodland fairy tale, mini beasts, toddler sessions, outdoor theatre, family bat walks and much more
