Our Visit

Visited June 2023

We visited Devon for a week and stayed at Beverley Parks (There’s 3 parks next to each other through Beverley holidays). There are lodges, caravans, touring and camping, and even stays with hot tubs and dependant on which you book, you will either stay at Beverley Parks (Like us) Beverley Bay or Beverley view

It’s a beautiful place and all the local schools were back in, which made it quieter for us which was a bonus.

Lots on site, including two outdoor swimming pools and one indoor. The indoor pool was warm, with a seperate baby area and jacuzzi. The outdoor pools were graded, lots of shallow water for our youngest to play in and deep water for our eldest.

They have an app and can see what’s on and pre book activities. They had water zorbs, sea scooters, paddle boats and inflatables in the swimming pool (for older ones). Evening entertainment with the mascots Beverley Bear and Sandy Starfish. They have sand art, workshops for the kids to join in.

Food wise they have several restaurants and bars – Jetty Lounge, bar and terrace, Starlight Bar, The Catch Takeaway,  Saltwater Pub and the Waterfront Kiosk

The caravan was large and clean, very modern, with TV’s in the living room and both bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen, with a balcony and seating. We stayed for 7 nights and loved it. There are so many places local to visit, which we have reviewed. Paignton zoo is a short drive, Totnes rare breeds, Devon bird of prey centre, Woodlands was brilliant and went twice there. There are so many seaside towns, harbours, beaches to explore. We went to the beach each evening until sunset. The weather was hot, the kids spent hours running in and out of the sea, building sandcastles, we even caught a crab and spotted jelly fish.

The park on site was nice, which was next to the crazy golf.

If we went back to Devon, we would definately stay there again. It was the perfect base, we cooked breakfast and some other meals in the caravan. Takeaways including McDonalds and shops like Asda was literally 3 minutes drive away
