Our Visit

Last visited August 2023

The boys had their first visit to Legoland! It was on our to do list of places to visit & decided to spend our tesco vouchers on them! They have loads of different deals as mentioned above and we also visited the Sea Life centre which is next door, which seemed a really good combination.

It’s all indoor, lots of different area’s for the kids to explore. As you walk through, they take your picture, which you can purchase with one of their packages. We didn’t opt for it, as we found loads of photo opportunities on your way around anyway.

There are 2 rides, the first where you shoot the bad guys, whilst you are sat in a chariot (fits 4 people in each). The second is a ride which fits 2 on and you cycle whilst flying around to make you go higher. No under 90cm for this ride and 1.2m you can ride alone.

The boys both enjoyed making their own lego cars and testing them down the different ramps. There were loads of different tracks for them to try out and plenty space to make your own car.

The 4d cinema show is on every 20 minutes, which was good. You do get a little wet, which ours did not like. The seats were wet and for any children with sensory needs, there’s lots of special effects, flashing lights, water, wind blowing and loud at times. It was a really good show, something different.

They had toddler play area’s, over 5’s soft play & have little cars to ride on which our youngest really enjoyed (infact we struggled to get him off them).

They had meet & greets with the characters, with a timetable for you to see activities that were on. They had staff playing bingo with everyone.

It was very busy, (a little too busy for us) but we did go in school holidays, so we would likely go in term time next time.

You can either go through at the end to wait for your prize, if you completed the challenge sheet, or, you can walk directly through a quiet route, which takes you straight to the shop & exit

We spent 2 hours in here, with the boys sprinting around and going on everything
