Christmas experience
Firstly can I just say, their Grinch is the best one I have ever seen! He was amazing! We got there as they opened, so if you want it to be quieter, that’s the best time to go. The boys ended up with loads of 1:1 time with the Grinch, playing tig, going down the slide with them and they even got him into the snow globe! He never broke character once, he was hilarious and was diving about with them, having snow ball fights and chatting and the boys loved him! They had a good hour with the Grinch and then still kept running back to see him.
The elf comes to collect you and take you down to the waiting area, where they fill in a wish list. Santa arrived (very realistic and the same Santa who has been there each year), so they instantly recognised him which was lovely. It’s a private meet & greet, which we really prefer. The boys chatted about their wish lists, their cheeky elves at home and about their interests. They had their picture taken (the elf can take family pictures for you on your phone), and then Santa gave them a magic coin to use in the toyshop. There was lots of variety, our boys chose the slime monsters!
The snow area comes on every 30 minutes on the hour and half past, with some Christmas music and fake snow falls, so our boys kept running back down to have a dance and see it. Rudolph came out every half an hour to say hello and have pictures as well which was nice.
The farm is open for you to see the animals and the meerkat handling was running throughout the day, (only £5 per child and adults go in free). The meerkats are really sweet and jump up to be handfed and you can stroke their backs.
Farmer Terry was around as usual, happy, dancing and chatting to everyone.
We spent around 3 hours here, as we stayed for some dinner (kids meals £4), and was right next to where the Grinch was, so they had constant entertainment
Loved it! Can’t wait for the next one
