Geocaching
Who loves a good treasure hunt?
Geocaching is an activity where you use a GPS system such as your phone to find treasures called geocaches using hints and coordinates
What do the geocaches look like?
A geocache will typically be someone kind of waterproof container such as Tupperware, metal containers, ammunition boxes or bottles and bags. Some caches maybe also be deceiving such as fake rocks/stones and even screws and bolts

Inside you will find a log book where you can sign and date your name
Some caches also may have items you can trade such as little toys, key rings and other items of interest
Once you’ve signed and dated you must place everything back in the container and put it back where you found it for the next person

We use the Geocaching app found on the app stores to find and log the geocaches we have found. However on the free version there is a limited amount of geocaches shown.
On the app it will show where abouts the geocache is hidden with some hints and clues from the person that’s hidden it
The boys will be going today to find some!
